We are a community donation center helping low-income residents, senior citizens, young families, single-parent families, and disaster victims of any age in times of adversity.

What we provide:

  • Food Pantry

    To help those who are food insecure with items not available with TEFAP. Currently providing 500+/- food boxes to food insecure families every week.

  • Clothing

    We offer all types and sizes of clothing for men, women, and children.

  • Firewood

    We offer fuel oil, propane, and wood.

  • Household Goods

    We have all types of household goods including, dish soap, dishwater, furniture, and bedding.

Ways to donate

Highlands Emergency Council is always in need of donations. Whether you choose to contribute financially (we are a 501c3 organization) or donate physical items like food and clothing, your support can make a real difference. Volunteer with us

Volunteers are always needed at our center. Just come on in any time and we are open to help of any kind. If you’d like more details, feel free to give us a call.

  • Upcoming Event: Annual Fundraiser

    When: September 1, 2024

    Where: Highlands Community Building

    This is our annual fundraiser to raise money for the Highlands Emergency Council. The proceeds will supplement our food and fuel programs. The event will include live music, a cookout for $10/plate featuring Wilson Gas grilling expertise, sides and drinks. There will also be a raffle, and a silent auction with gift certificates from local restaurants, fabulous gifts from local businesses & the community.
